Police continue to investigate triple homicide

Bolstered by support from the victims’ families, police continue to seek information of any activities that led to the murders of three Six Nations of the Grand River residents.

OPP officials said in a media release since November 4, 2018, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), under the direction of Detective Inspector Pete Liptrott of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), with the assistance of the Six Nations Police Service, have been investigating the murders of 37-year-old Melissa Trudi Miller, 33-year-old Alan Grant Porter, and 32-year-old Michael Shane Jamieson.

To date, one person has been charged with three counts of Accessory After the Fact to Murder contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and remains before the courts.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Police note that the victims’ families are supporting this investigation by releasing a video appeal to members of the community to resolve this investigation and allow the community to move forward.
