Robbery in downtown Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Thursday at around 12 p.m., a male party entered the Gear Box in downtown Wallaceburg and
approached an employee.

The suspect held a metal spike to the employee’s neck, then fled the
store.

There were no injuries and the suspect did not steal anything.

Police attended the area and within minutes arrested the 32-year-old suspect.

He was charged with robbery and held for a bail hearing.
