A Wallaceburg business is celebrating its 30th anniversary this week.
Burnett’s Cycle and Mower has been operating out of 217 Lafontaine Street in Wallaceburg since March 19, 1989.
“I wanted to deal with the public and serve them to the best of my ability,” Dave Burnett, owner of the business, told the Sydenham Current.
“After 30 years, it’s working.”
Burnett said their business offers top quality outdoor equipment, including lawn mowers, snow blowers and barbecues, along with “top notch service and parts.
“Most of the time it’s just me. (My wife) Jackie is here sometimes to help out with some office work and computer work, but most of the time it is just me,” Burnett said.
And while Burnett wouldn’t commit to running the business for another 30 years, he said there are no plans to close up shop.
“I enjoy coming to work and dealing with the people every single day,” he said.
