Mrs. Helen (nee Bernath) Riedl, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the age of 97.
Helen was born in Hungary and was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Tomori) Bernath.
Beloved wife of the late Frank Riedl (1990).
Loving mother of Frank (Lynne) Riedl, Ed (Odra) Riedl and Ron (Loretta) Riedl.
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Becky, Craig, Jennifer, Frankie, Mark, Ken, Karen, Matt, Sarah, Joe, Tom and David and 30 great grandchildren.
Also survived by a sister-in-law Marion Bernath and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brothers Frank (the late Ann), William and Jim.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 6, 2019 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg, at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Kidney Care Centre L.H.S.C may be left at the funeral home.
