C-K Toastmasters holding open house

Chatham-Kent Toastmasters invites the public to their open house event to drive membership on April 22, 2019 at 6:00 PM. The modified meeting will feature former Toastmaster, Rick Nicholls. The event takes place at Village on the Thames 850 Grand Avenue West, Chatham. Guests are welcome to attend for free and enjoy food and refreshments. Free parking is available at the rear entrance.

Toastmasters International is well known for their program that builds both leadership and public speaking skills. “For just $11 a month, Chatham-Kent residents can enhance their public speaking skills and build a social and business network, too. Toastmasters provides an affordable activity for adults of all ages,” says Mike Hahn, VP of Education for Chatham-Kent Toastmasters.

The Chatham-Kent Toastmasters club is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, the organization’s membership exceeds 357,000 in more than 16,600 clubs in 143 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.
