The Board of Trustees received a report at tonight’s Board meeting regarding principal and vice principal assignments for September 2019.
“A number of changes are required this year due to the retirements of three principals, a vice principal and the closing of St. Joseph Catholic School in Chatham and the consolidation of students and staff at St. Ursula,” says Deb Crawford, Director of Education.
“As an organization, St. Clair is blessed with many solid and capable Catholic leaders, who will bring their many gifts and abilities to their new school communities,” says Mrs. Crawford.
The principal and vice principal appointments are as follows:
1. Mark Renaud, Principal, St. Matthew Catholic School, Sarnia is appointed to Principal, Sacred Heart Catholic School, Sarnia;
2. Rob Cicchelli, Ministry of Education secondment is appointed to
Principal, St. Matthew Catholic School, Sarnia;
3. Stacy Shepley, Principal, St. Anne Catholic School, Blenheim is
appointed to Principal, St. Elizabeth Catholic School, Wallaceburg.
4. Liz Gibson, Principal, St. Elizabeth Catholic School, Wallaceburg is appointed to Principal, St. Ursula Catholic School, Chatham;
5. Mary Ann McCrae, Principal, St. Ursula Catholic School, Chatham is appointed to Vice Principal, Ursuline College, Chatham;
6. Julie Knight, Principal, St. Michael Catholic School, Ridgetown is appointed to Principal, St. Anne Catholic School, Blenheim;
7. Jen Morrow, Principal, Sacred Heart Catholic School, Port Lambton is appointed to Principal, St. Michael Catholic School, Ridgetown;
8. Derek Morrison, Vice Principal, Gregory A. Hogan Catholic School,
Sarnia and Holy Trinity Catholic School, Sarnia is appointed to Principal, Sacred Heart Catholic School, Port Lambton;
9. Kerri Jordan, Numeracy Support Teacher – Elementary is appointed to Vice Principal, Gregory A. Hogan Catholic School, Sarnia and Holy

10. Jeanne Girard, Principal, St. Agnes Catholic School, Chatham is
appointed to Principal, St. Joseph Catholic School, Tilbury;
11. Adrien Gagnier, Principal, St. Joseph Catholic School, Chatham is appointed to Principal, St. Agnes Catholic School, Chatham;
12. Frank Torti, Vice Principal, St. Patrick’s Catholic High School, Sarnia is appointed to Vice Principal, St. Matthew Catholic School, Sarnia and St. Joseph Catholic School, Corunna;
13. Tamara Johnson, Vice Principal, St. Matthew Catholic School, Sarnia and St. Joseph Catholic School, Corunna is appointed to Vice Principal, St. Patrick’s Catholic High School.
