Premier Rockstar was a rock star on Sunday as he cruised to victory in the $14,900 final of the Mark Austin Pacing Series.

Toxic Hanover and Tyler Borth used the two hole to his advantage and went right to the front in fractions of 28.2, 58.4 and 1:28 flat, with Premier Rockstar and Scott Young, nestled in second.

Nagle pulled first up for Keith Jones at the half and pushed the leader to the top of the stretch.

Premier Rockstar used a gap behind the top three to tip three wide and charge on the outside for the win in 1:57.3.

The three-year-old A Rocknroll Dance gelding is owned by Premier and Associates of Howell Michigan and trained by Robert Young.

Premier Rockstar was also the winner of the $12,000 Sharpes Series in Hanover June 15th.

In other action today Blissfullannmarie rallied from off the pace to beat Squirt who was looking for her fifth win in a row. The heavily favoured Squirt and Nick Steward engaged in an early battle with And Now Theres You and Marc St. Louis which took some wind out of the eight-year-old Mister Big mare’s sails.

Blissfullannmarie and Tyler St Louis rolled to the outside and paced her last quarter in 29.4 for the victory.

The handle on Sunday was $29, 607
