Port Lambton Pirates capture two tournament titles
Over the past weekend two Port Lambton OBA teams put on an impressive show both going undefeated in the Simcoe Peewee OBA Tournament and the Port Dover Mosquito OBA Tournament.
The Peewees outscored their opponents 70-13 and beat the Welland Mustangs in the finals 15-0 being the top team in the 12 team tournament.
The Mosquito group outscored their opponents 65-9 and beat the Beamsville Stingers 9-3 finishing on top of their 12 team tournament.
Both teams credited their success to hot bats, shutdown defence and stellar pitching.
