Wallyfest & Farmers’ Market in downtown Wallaceburg

Downtown Wallaceburg is set to be busy on Saturday morning, July 13 at the annual Wallyfest event is taking place, along with the second installment of the Wallaceburg Farmers’ Market.

“This is an outdoor event that will take place on James Street, downtown Wallaceburg from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.” said Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce officials, the organizers of Wallyfest, on social media.

“The streets will be closed off and we are inviting all local merchants, home based businesses, farmers and local artists to take part. This is an event for the whole family.”

Chamber officials say there is a kids zone, including: inflatables, games and face painting.

The Chatham-Kent Fire Department will be on hand as well, promoting fire safety.

The second installment of the 2019 Wallaceburg Farmers’ Market is taking place on Saturday as well from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
