Police investigating fatal collision in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, shortly before midnight, a cyclist believed to be travelling westbound, was struck by a transport truck also travelling in the same direction on Grand Avenue East.
The cyclist, a 38-year-old Chatham man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The identity of the cyclist will not be released at this time, pending notification of his next of kin.
The Traffic Unit has taken over the investigation.
