That was inaccurately reported.

With the assistance of a local farmer, the stolen van from Windsor was located in a ditch on St. Philippe’s Line near Jacob Road the next morning.

A Dodge Ram truck stolen from near where the van was recovered was located by a neighbouring police agency and charges were laid.

Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stolen van.
