Mary Lou Gordon, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away in Windsor on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the age of 66.
Lou is the daughter of the late Munson Gene & A.M. Yvonne (Londry) Bertino. Beloved wife of Ken Gordon for 46 years. Loving mother of Jeff Gordon (Kim Breidenstein), Tarrah Suman (Mike) and Brad Gordon (Jenn Rinehart) and her rescue dog, Hank. Dear grandmother of Ella, Julia, Lily and Beau. Sister of Miles Bertino (Rose) and the late Nancy (David Charron). Lou worked at the Royal Bank of Canada in Chatham and Wallaceburg for over 35 years. She volunteered with the Chatham Pet & Animal Wildlife Rescue and the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life as a team captain and luminary chair. She enjoyed golfing and bowling but her true passion was spending time with her family, friends, and her great love for animals.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Friday. The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, September 7 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Owen Cemetery.
