Meth seized after a drug bust in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: This morning, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Intelligence Unit and Critical Incident Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence on Pond Road in Wallaceburg.

As a result of the search, police seized:

– A quantity of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $2900

– Approximately $1,100 in cash

– Scales, packaging and other drug paraphernalia.

A 50-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking.

He was released pending a future court date of October 17, 2019.

A 31-year-old Chatham man has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

He was released pending a future court date of October 17, 2019.

A 35-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking.

She was released pending a future court date of October 17, 2019.

A 36-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of failing to comply with her release conditions.

She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
