Police: Warrant, drunk in public, stolen trailer

Warrant arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday, October 4, 2019 at approximately 10:40 a.m., a 46-year-old Chatham man attended the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, only to discover that there was a warrant issued for his arrest, for failure to attend court.

The man was arrested, and transported to the courthouse to deal with the warrant.

Intoxicated in a public place

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just before midnight on Friday, October 4, 2019, a 26 year old woman was located on King Street, Chatham, intoxicated and unable to care for herself.

The woman was arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and lodged until sober.

Stolen trailer

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday, October 4, 2019 police were called to an address on Merritt Ave., Chatham in response to a call of a stolen utility trailer.

Through investigation it was learned that sometime between October 1, 2019 and October 3, 2019, a 6×12 enclosed UHAUL utility trailer was stolen.

It was last seen with Colorado licence plate QZY385.

The trailer is white and orange in colour.

The investigation is ongoing but anyone with information is asked to contact Constable J. Weedon at jeremyw@chatham-kent.ca.
