Lyle Raymond Walker of Tilbury and formerly of Wallaceburg passed away peacefully on October 25, 2019 at the age of 78.
Lyle is the son of the late Marshall & Gretta (Raymond) Walker. Beloved husband to Angelene (Solski). Loving father of Jim Walker (Liz Dennis), Stephanie Vancoillie (Mike) and Jennifer Walker (Jason Cook). Dear grandfather of Clay, Devin, Chantal, Bianca, Jake, Josh, Nolan, Bryar and Brenna. Brother of Pete Walker (Rita), Ann Walker and the late Laverne, Basil (late Loretta), Glenn (late Helen) and Betty (late Gerry Boudreau).
Lyle had retired from Suncor and Wabtec and the Home Depot in Chatham. He enjoyed his Toronto Maple Leafs, golfing, and playing and coaching hockey and baseball in his younger years, but what he enjoyed most was being a Papa!
A private family funeral with interment in Riverview Cemetery will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
