Chatham-Kent Council is set to meet for a regular meeting on Monday night, November 4, 2019.

The meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. at the Civic Centre in Chatham.

– A motion by Chatham Councillor Doug Sulman about Arena Complex Financial Updates.

– An announcement by Mayor Darrin Canniff about an Offer to Purchase – Parkland, Churchill Park Road.

– Information reports on the following: Update on Council’s Climate Emergency Declaration and Construction Site Security.

– Routine approvals for Taxes and Assessment Adjusted to September 30, 2019.

– Committee Reports from the Accessibility Advisory Committee and the Historical Downtown Chatham BIA

– A report on Governance Agreement with Metrolinx and Vehicle Purchase.

– A report on Extension of Services – Municipal Property Tax Software.

– Council will also meet in closed session to discuss the following items: Blenheim Landfill Liaison Committee Appointment and the Appointment of Integrity Commissioner/Closed Meeting Investigator.

– Several planning items are also on the agenda: Consent and Removal of the “H” – Holding Symbol at 110 Queen Street South in Tilbury, Applications for Consent and Zoning By-law Amendments at 11 Oxley Drive and 74-146 (even) Moonstone Crescent in Chatham and at 330 Catherine Street and 45 Margaret Street South in Blenheim.
