OPP officials allege: The Lambton County detachment of the OPP is investigating a break and enter involving a docked boat in Point Edward.
Officers responded to a report of a break and enter at a property on Marina Road on Sept. 24. The investigation determined that at approximately 1:48 a.m., an unknown individual attended the property and entered a docked boat, stealing a surveillance camera before leaving.
The suspect is described as a man approximately 30 years old, with a slim build, shaggy hair, a moustache and short beard, wearing a hoodie under a plaid shirt.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who can identify the suspect, has information about the incident, or observed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the break and enter is asked to contact the Lambton County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where they may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
