Uttering threats results in arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday, November 2, at approximately 9 p.m., police were called to an apartment building on McNaughton Ave. West in Chatham after receiving information that a male threatened to kill a tenant inside.

Upon investigation, it was learned that the suspect had been the subject of three previous unwanted person complaints earlier in the day.

The 36-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with uttering threats.

He was lodged at Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Stolen vehicle in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday, November 1, sometime overnight a 2005 Buick Century with Ontario Licence plate CJXX 907 was stolen from a driveway on Redbud Dr. in Chatham.

There are no suspects at this time and police are still investigating.

Male arrested for breaching conditional sentence order

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, November 3, police responded to a traffic complaint at the McDonald’s on St. Clair Street where the driver was believed to be impaired.

After investigation it was found that the 27 year old male was not impaired however was breaching his curfew on a conditional sentence order.

The 27-year-old Toronto man was arrested and held for bail.

Woman arrested for criminal harassment

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On November 1, police responded to address in Chatham for a harassment complaint.

The complainant had ongoing issues with a 19 year old female harassing her; shouting derogatory terms at the complainant’s home.

The suspect was located and arrested.

The woman was released with a future court date.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On November 1, police located a 57 year old man in Tilbury wanted for breaching conditions of a bail.

The man was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early on November 1, police investigated a domestic disturbance in Howard Township.

As a result of this investigation a 22 year old man was wanted for assault and mischief under $5,000.

Early November 2 the man was located and arrested.

The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
