Essex OPP officials allege: On November 13, 2019 at 7:30 a.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lakeshore Detachment responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Tecumseh Road near Lighthouse Road in the Town of Lakeshore.
Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) along with members from the Lakeshore Fire Department also attended the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, a 53-year-old female from Chatham, was pronounced dead on scene.
The intersection remained closed while members of the Traffic Collision Investigations Unit assist.
