Thunderhawks hit the road to battle the Petrolia Flyers

The Wallaceburg Thunderhawks will look to make it two wins in a row tonight, Thursday, November 21, when they travel to Petrolia to take on the Flyers.

Puck drops at the Greenwood Recreation Center at 7:30 p.m.

The Thunderhawks are fresh off of their second win of the season on Saturday, when the Junior ‘C’ squad topped the Wheatley Sharks, 5-3.

New Wallaceburg goalie Nolan Hakr was on fire between the pipes on Saturday, making 54 saves.

The Thunderhawks own a 2-15-0-1 record on the season, last place in the West Stobbs Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

Wallaceburg is just five points away from the 8th place Flyers, who own a 4-12-0-2 record on the year and currently own the final playoff spot in the division.

Wallaceburg will turn around on Saturday, November 23 and host the first place Lakeshore Canadiens. Puck drops at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena at 8 p.m.

The Thunderhawks will play back-to-back nights, as they travel to Blenheim on Sunday at 7 p.m.
