Thunderhawks looking to top Sharks for third time

The Wallaceburg Thunderhawks will look to top the Sharks for the third time this season, when they travel to Wheatley tonight, November 27.

Puck drops at the Wheatley Area Arena at 7:30 p.m.

Both of Wallaceburg’s (2-18-0-1) wins this season have been against the Sharks (9-10-0-0).

The Thunderhawks fell short last week, dropping three games.

Last Thursday, November 21, Wallaceburg lost to Petrolia by a score of 1-0. Nolan Hakr made 29 saves in the loss.

Hakr made 22 saves against the first place Lakeshore Canadiens on Saturday, November 23. Wallaceburg lost 6-0.

The Thunderhawks failed to fill the score sheet the following night in Blenheim, losing 2-0. Jacob Lister made 44 saves in the loss.

Wallaceburg will have a week off before heading to Mooretown next Wednesday, December 4.

The Thunderhawks next home game will be on Saturday, December 7 when they host the Blenheim Blades.

Game time is 8 p.m.

Wallaceburg remains in last place in the West Stobbs Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
