OPP identify victim after fatal crash on the 401

Chatham-Kent OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has identified the driver who died in a collision on December 1, 2019.

At approximately 1 a.m., OPP, Chatham-Kent Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Chatham-Kent Fire Department responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Orford Road.

A motor vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in a treeline on the north side of the highway.

The lone occupant driver, Anna Doto, 37 years old of Windsor, Ontario was pronounced dead at the scene.

The westbound lanes of Highway 401 were closed for approximately seven hours as the OPP investigated.
