Police: Meth seized, B&E, theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 22 a 49-year-old man was arrested on the strength of a London Police Service warrant for failing to attend court. 

Incident to arrest, the male was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a prohibited weapon, while on a court weapon prohibition.

The man was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was processed on Chatham-Kent Police Service charges and released with a future court date prior to being turned over to London Police on their warrant. 

Theft, possession, breach, possession of controlled substance

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 22 a 49-year-old Chatham man was arrested for stealing a SD card from a St. Clair St.
business. 

Incident to arrest, the male was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, which also put him in breach of a current recognizance. 

The man was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was processed and held for bail.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Between 10 a.m. on December 21 and 10 a.m. on December 22 unknown suspects forced open the rear door to residence in the Wheatley area. 

Once inside, they removed two jewelry boxes with costume jewelry valued at $200.
