Threats and mischief

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: During the morning on December 25 police responded to a residence on Reaume Avenue in Wallaceburg as it was being reported that there was a disturbance in the area.

Police attended and located a male who was found to be intoxicated.

Through investigation police had found out that the male had caused damage to a front door and had made threats towards the tenants.

The 63-year-old male was arrested for mischief and two counts of uttering threats.

The male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking.

Theft in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police responded in the morning on December 24 to a business on Park Avenue West in Chatham for a theft complaint.

A female attempted to take $161 worth of product from the business without paying.

The 50-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting and later released with a future court date.

Fail to remain Motor Vehicle Collision

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police responded in the morning of December 24 to a motor vehicle collision in the area of McNaughton Avenue and St. Clair Street in Chatham.

It was being reported that one of the vehicles involved had fled the scene.

Through investigation police were able to locate the driver involved and the 51-year-old male was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.

Theft in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police responded in the evening of Deember 24 to a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham for a theft complaint.

A male attempted to take $18.97 worth of product from the business without paying.

The 27-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and later released with a future court.

Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: In the evening a male had attended the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters on an unrelated matter.

Through investigation the male was found to have an outstanding warrant.

The 59-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and held pending a bail hearing.

Male arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: In the evening police attended a residence on Anger Street in Blenheim and located a male there who was found to have an outstanding warrant for fail to comply.

The 28-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date.

Female arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police responded in the early morning to a residence on Wellington Street West in Chatham and located a female there who was found to have multiple outstanding warrants.

The 31-year-old female was arrested on the strength of the warrants and held pending a bail hearing.
