Man arrested for breaching curfew

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 27 police responded to a suspicious person complaint in Wallaceburg.

Police located a 35-year-old man in the vicinity of the complaint and through investigation learned he was breaching a court ordered curfew.

The man was arrested and released on the scene with a pending court date.

Man arrested after theft investigation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 26 police attended a commercial location in Chatham in relation to a theft complaint.

An 18-year-old employee of this location was allegedly committing theft against his employer.

The police investigation supported this accusation and the man was arrested for theft under $5,000.

He was released with a future court date.
