Residential break-in in Dawn-Euphemia

Lambton OPP officials allege: On December 27, 2019, Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residential break and enter on Oakdale Road, Dawn-Euphemia Township.

Initial investigation revealed the suspect entered the residence at approximately 5 p.m., removed property from the address and fled the scene.

The Lambton OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

Speeding in St. Clair Township

Lambton OPP officials allege: On January 9, 2020, Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement on 40 Highway in St. Clair Township.

At approximately 10:45 p.m. the officer observed a vehicle travelling southbound at over 60km/h above the speed limit.

A 21 year-old driver from Sarnia, ON was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle – Excessive Speed, pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act.

As a result, the driver’s licence has been suspended for 7 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days.

The Lambton OPP wants to remind all motorists to obey the traffic laws and report aggressive driving by calling 1-888-310-1122 or 9-1-1 if necessary.

Harley stolen

Lambton OPP officials allege: On January 14, 2020, Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft of a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the 10000 block of Lakeshore Road in the Municipality of Lambton Shores.

Initial investigation has revealed the motorcycle was stolen from the property by an unknown suspect between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The Lambton OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the motorcycle.
