Man drives to Police HQ under the influence of alcohol

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 6 p.m. last night, a man attended police headquarters to report an incident.

Through investigation, the officer detected an odour of alcohol on his breath.

The officer confirmed that the man had driven to police headquarters and a roadside breath test was administered.

The 61-year-old man registered a warning and was issued a 3-day license suspension.

His girlfriend attended to pick him up and drove his vehicle home.
