4th Annual CK Hike for Hospice

Once again we are inviting all our Hospice supporters, friends and neighbours to join us at the 4th Annual Hike for Hospice on Sunday, May 3rd at Mud Creek Trail beside John McGregor Secondary School.

The hike is a family-friendly and accessible event with strollers, walkers and wheelchairs welcome on this pet-friendly trail. With multiple trail lengths to choose from, people of all fitness levels will enjoy the afternoon. Returning this year is the 5 KM Fun Run and Corporate Challenge.

“The Corporate Challenge is a great way for colleagues to bond as a team- working towards a goal and spending some social time together for a great cause that everyone can relate to. The top corporate team will be recognized at the Hike with the coveted Hike for Hospice trophy and enjoy a coffee break reception at their workplace,” shared Amanda McKinlay, event co-chair.

“Chatham-Kent is very fortunate to have a local hospice that offers end-of-life care at no cost to families. This is only possible through funds raised through events like Hike for Hospice. Sign up as an individual, family or corporate team and help ensure this care is available for future Hospice families,” said Nathan McKinlay, event co-chair and Director, Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
