Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 31-year-old motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle collision in North Buxton.
Chatham-Kent police say emergency crews responded to the intersection of A.D. Shadd Road and Ninth Line at about 12:40 p.m. on July 8 after a collision involving a northbound motorcycle and a southbound motor vehicle.
Police said the 31-year-old man operating the motorcycle sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured.
Members of the Traffic Management Unit took over the investigation because of the severity of the collision. A.D. Shadd Road was closed for several hours before reopening.
Police said they extend their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased.
