Update: Pedestrian struck by mirror, investigation on-going

The Chatham-Kent Police Service have released an update, after a pedestrian was allegedly struck by a vehicle on Forhan Street in Wallaceburg.

“Around 7:30 p.m. last night, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Forhan Street between Stewart Line and Langstaff Line,” police officials said in a media release.

“Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the pedestrian who was struck by the mirror of the vehicle. The pedestrian is believed to be an Indigenous man with long hair, wearing a black coat and ball cap.”
