Community Living Wallaceburg partners with Select Finishing

Community Living Wallaceburg Employment Services and Select Finishing
are pleased to announce that through their unique partnership, 12 individuals with disabilities have been recently hired to resolve the company’s gap in their workforce.

Community Living Wallaceburg Employment Services, who assist individuals with barriers to employment to find and maintain competitive employment, got involved to help Select Finishing deal with their struggle in finding enough workers for their flourishing manufacturing plant.

“Select Finishing has always been open to the concept of an inclusive workforce and the benefits that would bring to their organization,” said Dale Brown, support professional on the employment services team, in a press release.

“So, when the opportunity to cater to their specific employment needs came up, I knew that we would be able to help by providing good candidates to perform these specific tasks.”

“This partnership has been so rewarding,” stated Tracey Jardine, office manager at Select Finishing, in a press release.

“Our new employees are so happy to come to work and we’re so impressed with how productive they are. This partnership has been a win-win for everyone involved.”
