Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 4 p.m. on Saturday a 34-year-old male was arrested for three counts of fraud under $5,000, in relation to an elder abuse investigation.
It is alleged the man had fraudulently obtained funds from his grandmother’s bank accounts.
The man was held for a bail hearing.
The investigation is continuing by the Major Crimes Unit.
