Capitol Theatre shows cancelled due to COVID-19

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and following the announcement today by Chatham-Kent’s Medical Officer of Health of a ban on large public gatherings, the following events at the Capitol Theatre have been cancelled:

– March 17 at 7:30 pm: Irish Rovers

– March 18 at 7:00 pm: Movie Night “Ford v Ferrari”

– March 24 at 7:00 pm: Movie Night “Brittany Runs a Marathon”

All tickets to the Irish Rovers concert will be refunded and the Box Office attendants will be contacting ticket-holders over the next several days.

“As we continue to monitor this situation, we remain tirelessly committed to ensuring the health and safety of our patrons, artists, staff and volunteers,” stated Heather Slater, Capitol Theatre Manager, in a press release.

“We are carefully considering each upcoming event; should other events be cancelled or postponed, all ticket-holders will be notified immediately, and subsequently contacted regarding refunds, rescheduled dates, etc.”

Slater added: “Thank you for your understanding — we look forward to welcoming you back to the Theatre, and hope to be able to do so soon.”
