Male arrested for breaching communication conditions

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:30 a.m. on March 13 police investigated a complaint of a domestic related breach of court order.

Police learned that a 27-year-old Wallaceburg man was communicating with his ex-girlfriend contrary to his court order.

He was located and arrested for failing to comply, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Family dispute leads to mischief charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:20 a.m. on March 13 police responded to a complaint of a family dispute in the city of Chatham.

Police learned that a 23-year-old Chatham man had become upset with his grandfather and broke items in his grandfather’s residence.

Police arrested the male for mischief under $5,000 and failing to comply with his probation order.

He was booked into custody and released with a future court date.

Woman arrested for failing to comply with curfew

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after midnight on March 14, police received information of an adult female breaching a release condition to remain in her residence at night.

Police located the female at a residence in the city of Chatham and placed her under arrest for failing to comply with her release conditions.

She was booked into custody and released with a future court date.

Woman charged with impaired driving

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after midnight on March 14, police received a call about an impaired driver in the city of Chatham.

Police arrived located the vehicle on Sass Road in Chatham and conducted a traffic stop.

The 52 year-old female driver was determined to be impaired by alcohol, and subsequently arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and booked into custody.

She was released when sober pending a future court date.

Woman arrested for breach of the peace

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 2:45 a.m. on March 14, a 35-year-old female was observed attempting to gain access to a police cruiser in the Chatham-Kent Police Service parking lot.

Police prevented this offence and determined that the woman was under the influence of illicit drugs.

She was arrested for breach of the peace and released upon being sober.
