Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police would like to advise the public of another CRA scam that is circulating.

If you receive the following email, please do not click the link.

Delete the email immediately:

Dear customer,

Canada Revenue Agency has sent you an INTERAC e-Transfer (previously INTERAC Email Money Transfer).

You have a tax refund of $458.00 (CAD) waiting from your previous revenue records.

Expiry Date: 29 March, 2020

Woman charged with assault police

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 5:30 a.m. this morning, police responded to a family dispute in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned that the woman assaulted a family member in the home.

As the officers placed the woman under arrest, she became combative in an effort to resist arrest and kicked an officer.

The 38-year-old woman of Chatham has been charged with assault, resist arrest and assault police. She will be released pending a future court date.

Executed warrants

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police arrested a man wanted for failing to comply and failing to report.

The 24-year-old Chatham man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, police located a man in Morpeth who was wanted for failing to comply and breaching his Probation Order.

The 40-year-old Chatham man was arrested and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
