The CK Public Health Unit has confirmed the ninth positive case of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent.
Public Health officials say the case involved a woman in her 20s.
The case is linked to “close contact” and the woman is now in self-isolation, CK Public Health officials say.
The case was confirmed on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

CK Public Health officials say their dedicated COVID-19 web page will be updated with the most up-to-date information Monday to Friday at approximately 9:30 a.m.
“The Province of Ontario’s COVID-19 webpage is now providing a more detailed summary of COVID-19 cases in the province and will be updated each day at 10:30 a.m.,” Public Health officials stated.
“CK Public Health is continuously monitoring the situation and proactively working with local, provincial and federal partners to manage and respond to COVID-19.”
The total tests to date in Chatham-Kent, since March 3, is 266 as of April 2 at 9 a.m. There are a total of 63 tests pending.
