A crash involving a pedestrian in Wallaceburg had turned fatal.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege on Friday night, emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Dufferin Avenue near Agnes Street.
The pedestrian, a 30-year-old Wallaceburg man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a London Hospital.
The driver of the pick-up truck, a 75-year-old Port Lambton man was not physically injured.
Yesterday, the pedestrian, succumbed to his injuries.
“Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service offer their deepest condolences to his family and friends, police officials said in a media release.
The collision remains under investigation.
