Crime Stoppers: ATV’s cause damage in Crother’s Park

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers is looking for tips from the public after ATV riders caused hundreds of dollars in damage at Crother’s Park in Wallaceburg.

“Several times over the past week ATV riders entered Crothers Park in Wallaceburg damaging the grass and leaving large ruts that will require hundreds of dollars to repair,” Crime Stoppers said in a media release, which announced their ‘Crime of the Week’.

“ATV’s are never allowed in municipal parks and at this time of park closures no one is permitted to be in the park.”

Crime Stoppers officials added: “Crime Stoppers is seeking anonymous information from anyone that can identify the persons responsible for the damages done to the park. If you know who they are call 1-800-222-8477. You could earn a cash reward.”
