It’s Throwback Thursday once again!
Here is an old photograph In 1960 of the Dominion Glass Company.
The Batch Tower had four main compartments for the four main ingredients of glass. The four compartments in the Batch Tower contained crushed limestone, soda ash from Amherstburg, sand from Michigan and broken glass from the factory. The tower remained a landmark in Wallaceburg for many years and was always decorated for Christmas.
