7 people recovered, 19 positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed in C-K

The 19th positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Chatham-Kent.

Meanwhile, a total of seven people in Chatham-Kent have now recovered from the virus.

CK Public Health officials say the 19th positive case in Chatham-Kent involves a man in his 40s.

His case, which was reported on April 10, is linked to close contact and he is currently self-isolating.

Four more people has now recovered from COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent, bringing the total to seven.

No patients from Chatham-Kent are in the hospital with the virus, CK Public Health officials say.

One person has died in Chatham-Kent from the virus.

“Please continue to physically distance this long weekend,” CK Public Health officials said on social media.

A total of 488 COVID-19 tests have been administered in C-K, with 122 tests pending.

A total of 22 patients have been confirmed with a positive case of COVID-19 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
