Duchene Paint and Accent Alley held a kids bedroom makeover contest on their Facebook page recently, where one lucky winner was set to receive free paint to give their bedroom a facelift.
After receiving 16 entries for the contest, the crew at Duchene’s turned around and made a surprise announcement on Monday, April 20, 2020.
“All (who) entered won,” the downtown Wallaceburg business posted on social media.
“Wallaceburg and area you have overwhelmed us with your support to our family business during one of our absolutely most difficult times in the history of our business… so this is our way of giving back and thanking you.”
Duchene’s added: “We can never begin to show you our appreciation enough so this is our way of saying thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Happy painting to all the kids and we look forward to seeing your new bedrooms.”
The winners are set to receive a gallon of wall paint, a gallon of ceiling of paint and some furniture paint.
Duchene Paint and Accent Alley is not open, because of provincial restrictions due to COVID-19, but they are accepting orders by phone at 519-627-5422 or email. They are also arranging curbside pick-up for orders.
