Transit Strategy Project consultation going virtual

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is conducting a final round of public consultation regarding the Transit Strategy Project.

The project will provide recommendations to Municipal Council on the direction of CKTransit over the next five to 10 years.

Due to social distancing restrictions, the session will be delivered virtually over the Chatham-Kent Facebook page.

Municipal staff will be delivering a presentation on the draft results and recommendations determined through public feedback and research collected during the project.

Participants will be able to ask questions through the Facebook Live feed or by emailing cktransit@chatham-kent.ca.

The final report will be brought to Council this June.

The public information centre will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at www.facebook.com/MunicCK.

Municipal officials say if you are unable to participate, the presented information as well as a comment section will be available at www.letstalkchatham-kent.ca from May 7 to May 16.

With the exception of personal information, comments will become part of the public record and incorporated into the Transit Strategy Project.
