Bike Month Ontario across Chatham-Kent

Commute Ontario and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent are inviting residents to participate in this year’s Bike Month Ontario.

The month-long campaign takes place from June 1 to June 30, 2020 and encourages residents to rediscover the benefits of cycling.

Residents can register a FREE account on the Active Switch online tool (www.activeswitch.ca) and log their cycling trips for a chance to WIN a $500 Sport Chek gift card.

The more cycling trips residents log online, the more chances they have to win.

Campaign and prize details can be found at www.bikemonthontario.ca.

“Chatham-Kent offers a wide variety of cycling and walking trails in each community, including our conservation and provincial parks,” stated Genevieve Champagne, Active Transportation Coordinator for the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, in a media release.

“With everything our community has been going through these last few months, a cycling campaign is something I believe our community needs. Cycling and walking are great ways to get up, get physical and maintain social distancing all while still experiencing our beautiful community.”
