CK Public Health has announced a number of new recoveries of the COVID-19 virus in Chatham-Kent.
There are now only five active cases across Chatham-Kent as well.
C-K’s total number of positive cases remains at 146.
There is still one person from Chatham-Kent hospitalized with COVID-19 and one person has died.
The total number of recoveries has jumped to 140.
“102 confirmed cases are related to a local workplace outbreak,” CK Public Health officials say, adding that two of these cases remain active and 100 people are listed as recovered from the outbreak at the Kent Bridge greenhouse business.
In total, 3,220 COVID-19 tests have been administered to date, while 43 tests are pending.
There have been zero outbreaks at long-term care and retirement homes in Chatham-Kent.
