Benita Leona ‘Una’ Day, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully in Chatham on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the age of 83.
Una is the daughter of Allan Kiyoshk and Bessie Nahdee.
Loving mother of Lloyd ‘Crocket’ Day Jr.
(Donna), Gina, Shannon Day-Lumadue (Andrew) and the late Ricardo Nahdee (Debbie), Michael Day and Mary Jo Day.
Dear grandmother of Stephanie, Donna, Lesley, David, Terrance, Alex, John, Carl, Dallas, Cody, Roni, Josie, Lonna, Adam, Kari, Stan and the late Courtland and great grandmother of 13 great grandchildren.
Sister of Loretta (Nahdee) Errdmann (Bill) and the late Ralph Jones.
A private family funeral will be held.
The HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
