OSS Prospect Series stops at Dresden Raceway

The OSS Prospect Series three-year-old colts and geldings made a stop in Dresden on Sunday, June 21 as Dreaming Out Loud and Big Sir scored wins.

Dreaming Out Loud scored his third win in a row at Dresden Raceway rolling with a huge back half of 56.4 for driver Tyler Borth.

The Thinking Out Loud colt was 10 lengths back at the half but stepped off a last quarter of 28.3 for the two and a half length win in 1:57.1.

Dreaming Out Loud is owned by Chris Cain and Keith Cullen while Cullen does the conditioning.

Grandpe Knows Best was second for driver Alfie Carroll while Dover Seelster and Nick Botd paid on the show ticket.

Big Sir used a quick brush at the quarter to take the lead in 29 and never looked back in the second division of the OSS Prospect Series.

Driver Alfie Carroll set fractions with Big Sir of 59 to the half and 1:29.2 to three quarters and a final time of 1:59.2.

The Big Jim gelding is owned by Rick Rier of Hanover and trained by Rebecca Geisel. Modern Writer was second for Tyler Borth while Mr
Cheeseman was third for Lorne House.

Borth scored four winners on the day as he also won with West River Cindy, Terra Cotta Lad and Ideal Space.

After Hours Automotive Repair in Sarnia continued their sponsorship as they donated eight $100 gas cards for non stakes races.

The local business owned by horseman Stewart McQueen is offering the cards as a random draw in each three horse field and a $50 gas card used in a random draw for each seven horse race.

The cards are used as extra incentive to fill the fields.

The Mark Austin Pacing Series kicks off next week with 36 eligible horses in the eliminations.
