Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials allege: At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday June 23, two unknown suspects forced their way into a Riverview Drive business by smashing a glass door causing approximately $1,100 in damages.

Once inside the suspects removed several Milwaukee power tools with a value of about $750.

Crime Stoppers is seeking information that can identify the suspects involved in this break and enter.

Men charged with domestic related offences

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Monday, police received information that a man had threatened his ex-girlfriend and broke a window to her home in Chatham, causing about $300 damage.

Yesterday afternoon, the man was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000 and two counts of uttering threats.

The 37-year-old man of no fixed address was held pending a bail hearing.

He was released pending a future court date of September 1, 2020.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to the report of a domestic disturbance in Howard Township.

Through investigation, police learned that this was not the first incident of domestic violence between the couple.

The 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with mischief, assault and two counts of assault causing bodily harm.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Traffic enforcement

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, members of our Traffic Unit conducted speed enforcement on Longwoods Road and McNaughton Avenue East in Chatham.

A total of 37 motorists were stopped and charged with speeding.
