Kit Moore added to CKHA board of directors

At its annual meeting (AM) held on Thursday, June 25, 2020, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s (CKHA) volunteer Board of Directors welcomed new board member, Kit Moore.

Hospital officials say Moore is a resident of Chatham and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor.

He is a practicing chartered professional accountant (CPA, CA) with an In Depth Tax Specialization from CPA Canada.

Moore founded and operates two practices in Chatham-Kent, including BluePrint CPAs, a strategy and tax advisory firm as well as FarmGate Advisors Inc., a rural tax and bookkeeping practice.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Moore to our Board of Directors and look forward to working with him,” stated Greg Aarssen, chair of the CKHA Board of Directors, in a media release.

“His knowledge and skill set will be a great addition to our governance and guiding CKHA in its delivery of safe, high quality care.”

In addition to Kit Moore, the following individuals’ terms were renewed for a three-year term: Dan Miskokomon, Jack Carroll and Stephanie Dries.

Following the Annual Meeting, CKHA appointed its Officers and Committee Chairs as follows:

– April Rietdyk, Chair, Quality Committee and Vice Chair of Board

– Deborah Hook, Chair, Governance Committee and Vice Chair of Board

– Alan Wildeman, Chair, Resources Committee and Vice Chair of Board

– Sharon Pfaff, Chair, Special Credentialing Disclosure Committee

– Geetu Pathak, Chair, Building Sub-Committee

– Robert Dye, Treasurer
