Lord Selkirk Bridge to be closed July 6 & 7

The Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg is to be closed for a couple of days at the beginning of July.

Infrastructure and Engineering Services officials with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent says all lanes of the bridge will be closed on Monday, July 6, 2020 and Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

“The bridge will re-open in the evenings after 7 p.m.,” Municipal officials stated in a media release.

The reason for the closure is for bridge balancing work.

Detours will be setup while the work is taking place.
