New recycling schedule launched across Chatham-Kent

Most communities in Chatham-Kent will have a new recycling day starting this month.

Municipal officials say the new schedule officially launched on July, 2, 2020.

In Wallaceburg, recycling days have switched to Mondays.

The schedule alternates week-to-week, depending on where you live in town.

People living in the ‘yellow’ zone in Wallaceburg will have their recycling collected starting on Monday, July 6, 2020.

People living in the ‘green’ zone in Wallaceburg will have their recycling collected starting on Monday, July 13, 2020.

Garbage collection remains on Fridays all across Wallaceburg.

In Dresden, garbage collection is on Tuesdays and recycling days will be on Wednesdays during the ‘yellow’ collection weeks. This will start on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.
